This is the original roof that has a condensation problem, instead of the water condensing on the outside skin of the roof, the design was such that the after cold nights water condensed upon the inside of the roof.

The original roof is carefully removed, and a control layer is applied via hot roll and pour method of apply felt. The felt type used for this layer was -------

As can be seen from the image, outside edge of the roof has been raised to accomodate a layer of insulation to create a warm roof. The control layer is also just visibe below where the roof has been raised.

Upon this insulation was fastened a layer of plywood, to provide a suitable flat smooth surface upon which is installed an Alwitra single ply roofing system.

New fascia soffits and guttering is first fixed into place, then the single ply roofing is installed by Raynor Ltd's professionally Alwitra trained installer's. The outside edges of the roof are finished with Alwitra roofing trim, which comes in many varieties all of which are excellent.

Finally the roof is completed. Note that the roof opposite is shiny, however if you roll the cursor over the image, the new image is dull, this is because this picture was taken the morning after a cold clear night, and condensation upon the outer skin of the roof has dispersed the reflected light creating a dull surface. In other words, the system works.
